Attorney Profiles
Richard J. Andriolo earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Montana in 1961. He graduated third in his class from the University of Montana School of Law in 1963. Upon graduation, Richard entered into service in the U.S. Army, Judge Advocate Generals Corps as a First Lieutenant. The Army subsequently promoted Richard to Captain with responsibilities for handling cases before Boards of Review and the U.S. Court of Military Appeals on behalf of the Government. The army awarded Richard the Army Commendation Medal for his services in this area. It then assigned Richard as the Post Judge Advocate at Fort Douglas, Utah. In 1967, Richard returned to Bozeman, Montana and entered the private practice of law. During the period from 1973 to 1983, Richard joined Bruce-Anderson Construction Company as legal counsel and Vice-President. During this period, he processed claims and other contract matters before Government agencies and Boards of Contract Appeals. In late 1983, Richard returned to the practice of law with a specialization in construction law claims and litigation. Richard enjoys a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating. He has jury and non-jury trial and appellate experience in Federal and State Courts and the United States Court of Federal Claims. He also serves as a Mediator and Arbitrator of construction and commercial disputes.
